This colorful purple check is one of the handsomer fabrics we've come across. The pattern is subtle but the deep purple color is unmistakable. If you're tired of the same shirt rotation week after week, this pattern would make a fantastic addition to the lineup. Woven in Italy by Albini in 100 2-ply from organic cotton from Israel. Great Shirt

I love the shirt. Best part-it is made in the USA with quality material. A win for everyone. It looks great and fits perfectly. What a feeling to wear such quality.

Purple Check

These shirts are so good I just ordered two more. Sustainable materials, ethical production and a tailored smart fit. What more could you ask for? Excellent!

Literally the best dress shirt I own

I was concerned at first when ordering because I was not sure of my size. I emailed Tuckerman and got a prompt response and assurances not too worry, free exchanges were available in case I got it wrong. I looked at some of my other dress shirts and went off those sizes. Still, I wasn't sure what I would get.

What I got was the best dress shirt I've ever owned. It's crisp, lightweight, perfect fit (neither tight nor frumpy) and just looks really sharp. I can wear it as a casual shirt or to big meetings. It doesn't seem to get all wrinkly like other shirts when I take it out of the dryer and leave it for a couple days before hanging it up. It has quickly become my go-to shirt. I don't plan to get another shirt anytime soon, but when I do, it will be with these guys.

Professional, Comfortable, & Ethical (Win, Win, Win!)

The fit and finish are outstanding. It is clear that considerable time was invested in the design. Combining this with certified B-Corp status, use of organic cotton, and an accountable supply chain makes for an unbeatable combination. The purple tones of the Kelly check provide a subtle and beautiful break from blues.
The tailored fit is trim but with sufficient room in the chest for an athletic build without pulling on the chest buttons or being too baggy in the waist. The higher armholes allow for a clean look and keep the shirt nicely tucked in while not being at all restrictive. The placement of the second button is perfect for wearing the shirt without a tie and there are no peeking undershirts (5-11, 42in chest, 32in pants, purchased a 15.5/34).
I've tried other tailored or slim-fit shirts made in America, but most of these have a base layer-type restrictive fit that is neither comfortable nor appropriate for a professional environment. Also, none of these companies are sourcing organic cotton and fabric manufacturers to Tuckerman standards. I feel like in wearing these I am only supporting the person sewing the shirt and selling the rest of the supply chain, as well as the planet, short. I usually end up wearing my old Patagonia shirts as I can feel good wearing a responsible garment, but with Tuckerman I now have the option of looking more professional when I need while not sacrificing comfort or my desire to support of an ethical corporation. Thanks!
